DESCRIPTION:
APW - Hamilton, Grade 994, 21J, 16S, gold-filled OF original Hamilton swingout case, white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, fishscale pattern nickel damascene, s#1080347. A scarce watch, the total production of this lever-set version of the Grade 994 was 800 made.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous plates with few mild micro-fine scratches, small bit of oxide to perimeter of larger winding wheel; excellent dial with some fine scratches within seconds-register; fine hands, minute with oxide and finish loss to its spade and tip and with some oxide to its hub, hour with finish loss to tip; case shows light to medium wear, some fine scratches and abrasions to rear, some shallow dents to rear and some dings to rear including some that are prominent but small, strip of wear to brass to lower perimeter of bezel, small bits of wear to brass to pendant; tight bow, crown shows medium wear; glass crystal with some glue excess at its seat.
